On the Job Training | On the job training means training someone to do a job while they are actually doing that job, as opposed to training them how to do the job while they are still at school or college. |

Online Communities | Online communities are composed of individuals who communicate with one another on a regular basis using online tools, such as forums, bulletin boards, listservs and some blogs. |
Ontario Preschool Autism Initiative | The Ontario Preschool Autism Initiative is an early intensive behavioural intervention provided by the provincial government in Ontario. |
Operant Conditioning | Operant conditioning is a technique in which desired behaviours are systematically reinforced through rewards (such as praise or food) and undesired behaviours are ignored or redirected. |
Opioid Antagonists | Opioid antagonists are morphine-like substances which can be used to block the effect of endorphins in the central nervous system. |
Optimal Cell Support Glyconutrients | Optimal cell support glyconutrients is another term for glyconutrients, a form of monosaccharide sugars. |
Options Method or Program | The Options Method or Program is sometimes used as another name for the Son-Rise Program, although it is actually a different programme run by the same company. |
Orap | Orap is a brand name for pimozide, a conventional antipsychotic used to treat motor or verbal tics caused by Tourette's disorder. |
Oregano | Oregano is a herb which is sometimes used as an antifungal treatment. |
Organotherapy | Organotherapy is another name for stem cell therapies, in which processed tissue from animal embryos, foetuses or organs, is injected or taken orally. |
Orthodox Medicine | Orthodox medicine is another term for standard health care, the medicine practiced by doctors and by allied health professionals (such as nurses, occupational therapists etc) which is based on sound scientific evidence. |
Orthomolecular Therapy | Orthomolecular therapy is another term for the use of vitamins and minerals as a therapeutic tool. |
Osteopathy | Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. |
