Online Communities
Online communities are composed of individuals who communicate with one another on a regular basis using online tools, such as forums, bulletin boards, listservs and some blogs.
People join online communities for a wide range of reasons, including to find or share information, to discuss relevant issues, or to provide mutual support.
There are many online communities which address aspects of autism. For example, some communities are restricted to those who identify themselves as autistic, while others are open to anyone with an interest in autism.
