Memantine | Memantine is in a class of medications called NMDA receptor antagonists and is sold under a variety of brand names inc. Ebixa, Maruxa, Nemdatine and Namenda. |
Mental State Reading | Mental state reading is another term for theory of mind training, an intervention which teaches individuals how to work out what other people may be thinking and feeling |
Mentoring | Mentoring is process of supporting and encouraging someone else to maximise their potential, develop their skills, improve their performance and become the person they want to be. |
Message Board | A message board is a form of online community used by people with autism and others to talk to one another. |
MET | MET is an acronym for multiple exemplar training, which means using multiple examples when training (or teaching) someone. |
Metabolic Amino Acid Therapy | Metabolic amino acid therapy is another term for amino acid therapy, which is the use of amino acids, usually in the form of dietary supplements, for therapeutic purposes. |
Metamorphic Technique | Metamorphic technique is a type of reflexology, the practice of stimulating points on the feet, hands and ears. |
Methyl-B12 | Methyl-B12 is another term for methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B-12. |
Methylcobalamin | Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin B-12. |
Methylin | Methylin is a brand name for methylphenidylacetate hydrochloride, a type of stimulant medication, used to treat inattention and hyperactivity. |
