Full Language Approach | The full language approach to teaching involves the use of full sentences, with simplified vocabulary and structure, alongside visual materials, and informally assessed understanding. |
Functional Analysis | A functional analysis is a process designed to provoke a behaviour in order to test theories about why the behaviour is happening. |
Functional Communication Training | Functional communication training is a behavioural strategy for teaching people to use signs or other techniques as substitutes for the 'messages' underlying their challenging behaviour. |
