Child's Talk was a programme developed by the University of Manchester in the UK which is designed to enhance parent-child communication in autism and the social and language development of the child.
It has now been superseded by PACT (Pre-school Autism Communication Trial) a similar programme being run by a number of universities and health care providers.
This glossary is designed to explain some of the jargon and gobbledygook used by some people when they talk about autism or research..
