More than Words Program
The More than Words program is a family-focused programme run by the Hanen Centre in Ontario, Canada.
It aims to give parents of children with autism and related social communication difficulties practical tools to help their children communicate.
It teaches parents to detect and respond appropriately to the individual child's attempts to communicate, however subtle, strange or even challenging these attempts may appear.
