Family Implemented TEACCH for Toddlers (FITT) is a comprehensive, multi-component parent education and support programme.
FITT is designed to assist families in (1) better understanding how autism may be affecting their toddler, (2) how to better engage their toddler across the day, and (3) how to implement StructuredTEACCHing (adapted to be developmentally appropriate for toddlers) and naturalistic behavioral strategies with their toddler to improve receptive understanding, communication, play, and joint engagement.
