The Early Intervention Readiness Program (EIRP), is a family support programme developed in response to the limited availability of comprehensive and individualized support for families in Australia during the challenging post-ASD diagnosis period.
The core objective of the EIRP is to strengthen parent knowledge and confidence to independently coordinate and commence appropriate early intervention and support services.
Information and support is provided about autismassociated behaviors and management strategies. Available intervention and support options are also identified and discussed with parents.
