FIAS
FIAS is an intensive, relationship-based intervention designed to help parents of children on the autism spectrum aged aged 1½ - 4 years old.
The treatment includes a three-week intensive phase (6 hours a day, 7 days a week) involving the whole family who live in an specially adapted apartment.
Parents are trained in how to interact with their children and the intervention is personalised to the needs of each family.
FIAS was developed and is run by the FIAS Therapy Center of the University Psychiatric Hospital Basel, Switzerland.
