Modular treatment programmes are interventions based around the use of several different modules or components.
Freestanding modules are created to match a particular intervention component (such as modelling) to a specific symptom cluster (such as anxiety).
Clinical algorithms provide decision rules about how and when to use each module, which allow practitioners to select interventions and vary the dosage based on the needs of the client.
