Barnardo's Forward Steps Early Intervention Programme
Barnardo's Forward Steps Early Intervention Programme is a combined, multi-component programme designed for preschool children with autism and other communication difficulties.
It is based on the principles of TEACCH but uses other interventions - such as ABA, the DIR Method and PECS - where appropriate to the needs of the individual child.
