Our Evaluations of Autism Interventions, Treatments and Therapies

This section provides information about interventions used to help autistic people that we have evaluated or are in the process of evaluating.

Each intervention is rated according to the amount and quality of scientific evidence which has been published in peer-reviewed journals that supports or does not support the effectiveness of that intervention. We also provide information on whether each intervention is considered to be hazardous.

Please note that our rating system does NOT constitute a recommendation about whether a given intervention is appropriate or not appropriate for a specific individual.

For more information please see our Disclaimer and Frequently Asked Questions About Our Evaluations

If you cannot see the intervention you are looking for here please look in the alphabetic listing or types of intervention section.
